FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1. How are you different from other morning nurseries?
We strive to create a home from home. We are a non-profit making group with charitable status run by a parent committee. Our staff ratio is 1:5.
2. Our Fees
It is a requirement of our funding/provider agreement with the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames to be on their Directory of Providers (DOP). Inclusion on the Directory allows us to access the EEF (Early Education Funding) from the Borough for all eligible children. Please contact the setting for our up-to- date fees.
EARLY EDUCATION FUNDING POLICY
It is our duty to explain to parents how the EEF will be delivered and how this will be reflected in our invoicing arrangements. For 2018-2019 the hourly rate for EEF is £3.62 per hour.
Settings like New Stepping Stones that are open beyond 3 hours each morning need to charge additional parental contributions to remain sustainable. All EEF funding will be taken off at the point of delivery. This means that the free 15 hours of EEF will be clearly stated on each invoice you receive along with the amount for additional chargeable hours.
