PARENT COMMITTEE

It takes a village

New Stepping Stones prides itself on its Trustees, Parent Committee and community relationships.

The trustees make a valuable contribution towards the running of the nursery. The trustee team is made up of elected representatives from the parent body and skilled professionals within the community. We are a team at NSS, and great friendships and connections have been forged through being part of our village.

TRUSTEES

  • Alison is a former NSS parent. She loves the nursery so much she agreed to stay on and continue to drive the well oiled machine on! Alison focuses on the finances of the nursery and generally anything that needs her attention.

  • A former NSS parent, Linda is our energy source, she has it in abundance. So we just couldn’t let her go, even when her daughter left us for school. Linda heads up our recruitment for Trustees, Members and Employees. She brings a wealth of local knowledge to NSS, and generally makes the world a happier place :-)

  • Carla our Artist, with her own company CreateArtLondon, Carla brings the artistic flair to NSS. As well as a fountain of knowlege from her days in Childcare Management, with a focus on SEN. Carla holds art workshop days with the children which they absolutely adore.

  • Ellie is a current parent at NSS, with a background in Management Consultancy. Ellie looks after our Sales and Marketing efforts, and our community outreach.

  • Harriet is a current parent at NSS and has worked in book publishing for 15 years and now doing freelance projects within publishing. Harriet heads up our Fundraising & Social Committee to raise funds and the profile of our wonderful nursery in the local community.
