Our main nursery sessions are Monday to Friday 8:45am - 12:30pm.

Optional lunch clubs available Monday - Friday 12:30pm - 2:45pm.

We are open during term time excluding bank holidays.

Our fees include care, snacks, resources, equipment and activities.
At New Stepping Stones Playgroup CIO (NSS), we are committed to keeping high-quality early years education accessible for all families. As a registered charity and the only not-for-profit nursery in the Borough of Richmond, every penny we receive is reinvested into enhancing your child’s learning experience.

The above sessions can be used with funded hours.
To help us continue providing a rich and stimulating environment, we kindly request a contribution of:

  • £12.50 per funded morning session
    This helps to cover:

  • Nutritious daily snacks at £1.00

  • Consumables such as art and craft materials at £1.50 per funded hour.

  • Daily studio activities at £7.00 per session including
    Mondays- Yoga
    Tuesdays - Playball
    Wednesdays - Petite Performers
    Thursday - Music & Drama
    Friday - Music

This means parents and carers will be able to access:

Universal funding for 3 - 4 year olds which includes up to 15 hours per week. It is effective from the term following the child’s 3rd birthday and is available to all children regardless of their family circumstances. Parents will receive funding inline with the number of hours they attend the setting, up to a maximum of 15. Parents will be charged additional parental contributions, in order for the nursery to remain sustainable. These contributions are for the extra benefits and additional services that children receive and enjoy at New Stepping Stones.

Eligible parents will be able to access 30 hours funding for 2, 3 - 4 year olds per week. It is effective from the term following the child’s 2nd birthday. Parents will receive funding inline with the number of hours they attend the setting, up to a maximum of 30. To check if you are eligible and to apply, please click the link

All EEF information will be provided to parents in a clear and transparent format prior to accepting a place.

We must have received your funded code before the above date to claim funding for the following

  • 15/ 30 hours funding for working parents ( eligible term after child’s 2nd birthday)

  • 2 year old FRA early education entitlement (Families in receipt of additional government support)

We understand that every family may need a little help. You may be eligible to access funding and childcare support for your child attending New Stepping Stones.
